Here's my husband (center) with two of his cousins. These two are Hunts. The Hunts are a unique gang of people. Every time one of them shows up, the fun begins. They are all hysterically funny and they are all TALL!

They are now stacked by our hay barn (you can see it toward the back of this picture) and patiently waiting for us to stack them inside. The only thing left to decide is...will Son #5 ride with me in the tractor or in the other tractor with Daddy?

Saturday Evening on the Farm

Today has been the best day! I was soaking up some actual quiet time when my handsome hubby called to tell me that his irrigating crew had expanded to include some of the boys' cute cousins...I knew it was a Kodak Moment not to be missed! So I donned my rubber boots, grabbed my camera and here's what awaited me...

Monday Morning

Buster...the black and white dog on the left who couldn't wait for the picture to be taken before consuming the entrails of the deer...was puking in the yard this morning...


Not to worry though...Mo...a connoisseur of all things disgusting was on hand to lick it up!

He's BACK!!!

We are thankful and thrilled! I thought Son #5 was going to explode from glee when he noticed Bo was back! THANK YOU!!!

When Merlene leaves town...

everything gets out of control around here!

For example...today while I was faithfully serving my country in jury duty...never mind the fact that I prayed before and during to NOT get picked as a juror...then prayed prayers of gratitude when I was not picked...as well as the fact that I wasn't thrilled about the idea of even having to go in the first place...this cute fella...

Came to our home and repossessed this precious guy...

I am so sad! Bo has lived here with us since I first arrived! He is technically Tim's dog (seen above with his granddaughters) so technically they've done nothing wrong and I need to work on my attitude...

We love him and miss him and hope the inhabitants of his new (preferably temporary) digs appreciate the wonderful dog he is! He is SO GOOD with little kids! Very kind, very patient!

As for the two perps (jury duty lingo) above...not sure when I'm speaking to them again!

Meanwhile I'll be working on my attitude!

Because I get to be married to my husband!!! He is the best! Here he is playing with Son #5...so cute!



CONGRATULATIONS to Son #4 seen here trying (and failing) to find some privacy while talking to his friend, who by the way is a girl, on the phone...

He played center field, pitcher, second base and got some pretty good hits tonight at his victorious baseball game!!!

In privacy news...I'm still going to go private...just haven't had a chance to switch everything yet!
